2025 CONGRESS – FINAL RESULTS

The Open section of the 2025 East Devon Chess Congress has been won by IM Jack Rudd with a score of 4.5/5. In the Major, Mohammad Mozaffari triumphed with 4.5/5, while the Minor was won by Joe Dornan with a perfect 5/5. The DCCA trophies recognising the ‘highest-placed Devon player’ in each section will be engraved with the names shown below, with each winner also receiving a small trophy to keep:

• Winter-Wood Championship Cup (Open section) – IM Jack Rudd [Barnstaple]
• Festival of Britain Trophy (Major section) – Raman Kumar [Exeter] & Charles Howard [Totnes]
• E J Winter-Wood Trophy (Minor section) – Shreyas Pasupulety [Newton Abbot]
• Ladies Championship Challenge Cup (highest TPR) – Joy Ching Li [Colyton Grammar School]
